There is a letter from Hutton to Bone discussing the situation in Italy, with reference to the present regime, press coverage and propaganda, and to the Vatican's policy on Spain and Germany, with discussion of communism and fascism, with the recommendations that the Manchester Guardian employ a Vatican correspondent, and suggesting that a meeting should be arranged with [Giuseppe] Pizzardo, cardinal, on his visit to England as part of the deputation sent to the coronation of King George VI.
