Also included is a letter of introduction for Stefansson from Sir Michael Sadler, educationist. There are drafts and copy of letters of introduction for Stefansson [from Scott] to [Lionel George?] Curtis, [writer and public servant] and [Winston?] Churchill, [prime minister], outlining Stefansson's proposals to open up a north flying route to the far east, with reference to the annexation of Wrangel Island.

There is an expression of thanks by Scott for praise from Stefansson for an interview with him which was published in the Manchester Guardian, and a suggestion by Stefansson that his books might be reviewed for the paper by W.H. Barker, geographer, which is declined. There is a letter of appreciation from Stefansson for an article in the Manchester Guardian on Wrangel Island, which refers to Stefansson's book The Adventure of Wrangel Island, with discussion of the reporting of the expedition by Harold Noice, explorer. There is also a letter of thanks [for Stefansson's contribution to] the bust of Scott produced by [Jacob] Epstein, sculptor.
