Scope and Content

Correspondence with Z.D. Ferriman, journalist, relating to the provision of articles by Ferriman during travels in Palestine and Saudi Arabia, with reference to Petra, Cyprus, the Hejaz railway and the Anatolian railway, for publication in the Manchester Guardian. There are internal memoranda discussing Ferriman, articles he has contributed to the paper, and his style of writing.

Also included are offers by Ferriman of articles from visits to Constantinople and to Greece, with suggestions for subjects, and internal memoranda discussing the subject. There is a request from Scott for articles from Constantinople on the atmosphere and present strain [occasioned by the First Balkan War].
