Correspondence between Sir John Maxwell (1882-1968), chief constable of the Manchester city police, and W.P. Crozier, relating to a request by Crozier that a police constable be stationed at a crossing on Princess Street in order to assist in directing the traffic and preventing accidents, which is granted. Also included is a letter of thanks from Crozier.
