Correspondence with Sir Walter Hamilton Moberly (1881-1974), philosopher and university administrator, relating to a request by Scott that Moberly write an article for the Manchester Guardian on Lincoln College, Oxford, to celebrate its quincentenary, which is accepted, time permitting. Also included are internal memoranda discussing the need for a potential replacement for the article, should Moberly prove to be too busy.

Also included is correspondence between Moberly and E.T. Scott, relating to a request by Moberly to visit The Firs, [following the death of Scott, and which has become the property of the University of Manchester], which is accepted.
