Correspondence between William Muter Leggate, politician and colonial secretary of South Rhodesia and E.T. Scott, relating to discussion of articles by [Sir John Hobbis] Harris, campaigner against slavery, on the Land Apportionment Act in Southern Rhodesia which were published in the Manchester Guardian, and repudiation by Leggate of the way in which the act is represented, which is acknowledged with apologies.
