Scope and Content

Correspondence with Arthur Henderson (1863-1935), politician, relating to a request for the Manchester Gaurdian to provide space in the paper for the publication of notes and statements by the Labour party during the campaign for the general election in 1922. Also included is a copy letter from Scott relating to discussion of the newly elected Labour government in 1929.

There a letter from Henderson to W.P. Crozier, relating to praise for an article entitled 'Neither Dead nor Dying' [on the disarmament conference in Geneva] in the Manchester Guardian, with discussion of the [disarmament] conference, and concerns raised by France in relation to Britain's position.
