Correspondence with Andrew Law, grain and flour merchant, relating to discussion of a potential article by Law on the proposed [import] quota scheme for wheat, and appreciation by Law of articles on [naval disarmament] and the success of prohibition in America which have appeared in the Manchester Guardian. Also included is discussion of the political situation, with reference to the Dumbartonshire by-election, and the impact on the Liberal party of the coalition government.
