Correspondence with Douglas C. Leng, director of the Sheffield Telegraph, relating to discussion of copyright of articles, with reference to a claim by Miss C.M. Wheeler-Ryan of copyright infringement for an excerpt of an article by Wheeler-Ryan from the Manchester Guardian published in the Sheffield Telegraph.

Also included is correspondence relating to a request by Leng for the publication of an article on a visit of the British Economic Mission to South America, and for publicity in the Manchester Guardian for the D'Abernon report and British trade with South America, which is acknowledged, and accompanied by internal memoranda discussing the subject.
