Correspondence between Hastings William Sackville Russell, twelfth duke of Bedford (1888-1953), [marquess of Tavistock], evangelical Christian and pacifist, and E.T. Scott, relating to discussion of the merits of the scheme for social credit decided by [Clifford Hugh] Douglas, economic theorist, a request by Tavistock that the Manchester Guardian should give support to the scheme, with an offer to provide literature on the subject, which is declined.
