Correspondence between William E. Cockburn, journalist and W.P. Crozier and A.P. Wadsworth, relating to Cockburn's employment at the Manchester Guardian as a reporter, and later as Daily News Editor, with discussion of Cockburn's previous experience, salary, members of staff under Cockburn's management, and permission for Cockburn to take part in an [unknown] broadcast. There is also correspondence relating to discussion of a break from work for Cockburn due to ill health, and of his return to work.
