Correspondence between William Mc.G. Eagar, and E.T. Scott, relating to the offer of an article by Eagar based upon a report on methods of dealing with unemployment in America, with reference to unemployment insurance and a programme of public works for publication in the Manchester Guardian, which is accepted.

Also included is correspondence discussing of the potential closure of Heyrod Street Lads' Club, and a request for assistance and advice from the Manchester Guardian, on behalf of the National Association of Boys' Clubs, which is accepted.
