Correspondence with Henry A. Forster, relating to discussion of the difficulties presented by war debt and the payment of reparations and their impact on the relationship between Britain and America, and of the suggestion that America was viewed in Europe as a war profiteer. There is reference to an article on the subject by Garet Garrett in the Philadelphia Saturday Evening Post, and to books on the subject by Frederick Bausman, judge, entitled Facing Europe, and Recent Revelations in European Diplomacy by [George Peabody] Gooch. Also included are related internal memoranda.
