Correspondence with Dugald MacFadyen, clergyman and Liberal party candidate, relating to a request that MacFadyen contribute to articles to the free churches column of the Manchester Guardian, which is accepted, with discussion of the required content and potential subjects for articles, and also of payment. Also included is discussion of a lecture tour to be given by MacFadyen in America, and of current relations between America and Britain, with reference to the provision of articles by MacFadyen in advance of the trip.
