Correspondence with Meliscent Shephard, campaigner, relating to discussion of her forthcoming journey to India to investigate the abolition of brothels in Calcutta for the [Association for Moral and Social Hygiene], with a request by Shephard for as little publicity in the Manchester Guardian on the subject as possible. Also included is discussion of Scott's retirement, of Shephard's work in India, and the provision of an [unknown] article by Shephard to Scott.
