Also included is an internal memorandum discussing Bennett's acknowledged bias in favour of the Turks.
There is discussion of the conditions of agricultural labourers, with reference to housing and the minimum wage. There is also correspondence relating to discussion of the potential publication of letters by Bennett on negotiations for peace with Germany [during the First World War], on the political situation in Egypt, and on [The Well of Loneliness] by Radclyffe Hall, in the Manchester Guardian.
