Scope and Content

Correspondence with W.A. Hubball, journalist, relating to Hubball's employment at the Manchester Guardian Commercial, with discussion of articles submitted for publication, and reference to the form and content of an article on magnetic materials, on television, and discussion of a proposed engineering page for the paper. Also included is discussion of Hubball's resignation, in order to take up the post of editor of The Artificial Silk World, and a request for a reference for Hubball from the proprietors of the paper, Thomas Skinner and Company. There is a request for an article from Hubball based on an [unknown] report, with reference to smokeless fuel and atmospheric pollution, which, by an oversight, is not published.
