Letter from Frederick Cornwallis Conybeare (1856-1924), biblical and Armenian scholar, relating to an inability to provide current information for Scott on Armenia, discussion of the situation with Turkey, and recommendations of H[enry] F[innis] Lynch, traveller and politician, and [James] Rendel Harris, biblical scholar and palaeographer, as possible contacts for information. Also included is discussion of a dispute over the administration of church funds on the Aegean coast, which has led to an exodus from the Catholic Church to the Gregorian Church.
