Scope and Content

Correspondence with Con O'Leary (1887-1958), journalist and novelist, relating to O'Leary's resignation from the role as editor of the Manchester Guardian Weekly, in order to take up the role of assistant editor of T.P.'s Weekly, with discussion of arrangements for the end of his employment. Also included is correspondence between John W. Dulanty, diplomat and civil servant and W.P. Crozier, relating to the provision of a reference for O'Leary for a position as sub-editor at the Manchester Guardian.
