Scope and Content

Correspondence between Sir Kurma Venkata Reddi Naidu (1875-1942), politician, and E.T. Scott, relating to arrangements for a meeting between Reddi and E.T. Scott to discuss the political situation in India, and to the provision by Reddi of a memorandum on proposals for reforms in India. [Memorandum not included.] Also included is a letter of introduction for Reddi from [Sir Harry Alexander Fanshaw] Lindsay, civil servant in India.

There is correspondence between E.T. Scott and [John Tudor] Gwynn, civil servant in India, relating to discussion of Reddi, of the memorandum provided by him and its proposals, and of the situation in India. Also included is the suggestion that Gwynn also attend the meeting with Reddi, which is accepted.
