Correspondence with Joseph W. Grigg, journalist, relating to a request by Grigg for Scott's views as to the attitude of Britain towards a potential conference on the limitation of armaments, for use by the editor of the New York Herald, which are provided, with discussion of the view of the Labour government, and the use of public opinion.

Also included is a letter from H.E. Scarborough, journalist, relating to discussion of the sale of the newspaper publication rights of the memoirs of Colonel Edward M. House, diplomat, politician and presidential adviser, which are held by the New York Herald Tribune.
