There is correspondence between E.T. Scott and P.J. [Report included.] Also included is a copy letter from E.T. Scott to Sir Arthur Haworth, businessman and politician, relating to E.T. Scott's concerns regarding his election, without consultation, as a vice-president of the Manchester Liberal Federation, as he does not share their views.

There is also a letter from J.R. Scott to E.T. Scott, relating to discussion of the making of wills and distribution of shares in the paper. [The letter includes a handwritten note stating that the letter was sent on the day of E.T. Scott's death, and returned unopened.] Also included is a memorandum of the death notice for E.T. Scott.
