Correspondence with Arthur Greenwood (1880-1954), politician, relating to discussion of Greenwood's work on reconstruction, and as a member of the war cabinet council for co-ordinating demobilisation, with particular reference to Greenwood's views on industry, and accompanied by related internal memoranda.

There is discussion of articles by Greenwood on reconstruction published in the Manchester Guardian, of a meeting between Scott and Greenwood to discuss Greenwood's potential employment by the Manchester Guardian, and of Greenwood standing as a candidate [in the general election] in Southport.

There is a letter of recommendation for Greenwood from [James Joseph] Mallon, social reformer.
