Scope and Content

Correspondence with Antonina Valentin, journalist and writer, relating to discussion of the political situation in Germany, and the provision by Valentin on information on the misconceptions in the views held by extreme German nationalists with regard to relations between Britain and Germany. Also included is correspondence relating to Valentin's resignation as assistant to F[rederick] A[ugustus] Voigt, journalist and author, in Berlin, over a disagreement regarding a telegram sent by Voigt for publication in the Manchester Guardian, relating to the occupation of the Ruhr and Cologne. Also included is correspondence with Voigt discussing the subject.
