Correspondence with Mosa Anderson, translator, relating to the termination of Anderson's employment by the Manchester Guardian as head of the Survey of the Foreign Press, as the weekly paper is required to find ways to economise. The correspondence includes discussion of the provision of a reference by C.P. Scott.

There is correspondence relating to a request that Anderson advise on the potential use of a quotation, with thanks for suggestions made by Anderson for the Manchester Guardian's women's page.

Also included is a letter from Anderson for potential publication in the Manchester Guardian on recent political proposals by Russia.
