Correspondence with Philip Guedalla (1889-1944), historian and essayist, relating to thanks for and discussion of a copy of [Conquistador: American Fantasia] by Guedalla provided to Scott, and arrangements for a meeting between Guedalla and Scott. Also included is an invitation to a dinner by the Zionists of Manchester in gratitude for Scott's support for the cause in the Manchester Guardian, which is declined. There is a covering letter for a notice of an invitation to Guedalla to assist with a statement on unemployment policy by the Oxford [Union Society], for publication in the Manchester Guardian.
