Scope and Content

Correspondence with Arthur G. Meeze (1854-1934), relating to an offer of an article by Meeze on negative voting, with discussion of voting systems, which is declined. Also included is an offer by Meeze of a photograph, used in a series of lectures by [Welbore] St. Clair Baddeley, writer and historian. The photograph is accepted, with an additional request for an article on the subject for publication in the Manchester Guardian, which is declined by Baddeley.

Also included is correspondence between Meeze and E.T. Scott, relating to a request for Frederick William Chubb, accountant, be sent a copy of the memorial number [for C.P. Scott by the Manchester Guardian?] which is granted, and a request for assistance in finding a publisher for a book containing a series of articles by Meeze entitled 'Politics Poverty'.
