Correspondence between John Howard Whitehouse (1873-1955), educational reformer and Ruskinian, and E.T. Scott, relating to a request by Whitehouse to reprint an article published in the Manchester Guardian on Fridtjof Nansen, explorer, scientist, statesman and humanitarian, in a volume produced by the Committee for the Preservation of the Fram, which is granted. Also included is correspondence with Robert Neal Rudmose Brown, geographer, and [A?] Wilson Harris, [authors of the article], obtaining permission for its inclusion in the volume.
