Scope and Content

Correspondence with Isabel Fry (1869-1958), teacher and writer, relating to discussion of foot and mouth disease, and a purported cure reported in the Manchester Guardian, with offer of financial support by Fry to any scheme by Scott to promote the use of a cure by the government board of Agriculture. Also included is an internal memorandum relating to discussion of Fry.

Also included is correspondence relating to a request for advice from Scott on the advisability, usefulness and practicality of a proposed lecture tour by [Eduard] Reut Nicolussi, political activist, on the position of South Tyrol under the fascist regime, with discussion of the Italian government's potential response, and the need for publicity and coverage in the press, with reference to potential advice from Cecil [J.S.] Sprigge, journalist, and the need for a leader and working committee for the project.
