Scope and Content

Correspondence with Israel Cohen (1879-1961), Zionist, author, and secretary of the World Zionist Organisation, relating to the publication of an article by Cohen [on the Zionist perspective on Palestine?], with discussion of the position of the British government on Palestine. Also included is reference to a letter sent by [Chaim] Weizmann, Zionist leader and president of Israel to the Manchester Guardian, which has not been received, and discussion of the coverage of Zionist cause in the paper, with reference to the omission of publication of speeches by Weizmann and Aristide Briand, prime minister.

There is also correspondence relating to the presentation of a box of oranges to Scott by [Nahum?] Sokolow, Zionist, author and president of the World Zionist Organisation and Jewish Agency, which is received with thanks.

There is a copy letter from E.T. Scott expressing thanks to the Jewish Agency [for condolences offered on the death of Scott].
