MB ChB Manch 1906.
George studied at Owens College Manchester and held house posiitons at MRI and St Mary's Hospital Manchester. He was honorary anaesthetist to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary before being appointed honorary surgeon there. George played a prominent role in the St John's Ambulance Association, for which he was honorary surgeon, and also served with the RAMC Territorial Unit for twenty five years. George was a member of the North of England Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society.
