BSc Vict Manch 1906, MB ChB 1909, DPH 1912.
Batty studied at Owens College before being appointed AMO to Manchester Consumption and Children's Hospitals. He was also house surgeon to Devonshire Hospital Buxton and AMO to Lancashire County Council.
