Chadwick was visiting anaesthetist at Salford Royal Hospital and Withington Hospital Manchester before being appointed consultant anaesthetist for North Manchester Group Hospitals. Chadwick was a member of the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain. He had retired by 1980.
