After qualifying in Manchester, Beazley held a number of posts there up until 1960. He then became a lecturer at the Institute of obstetrics and gGynaecology (University of London) before being appointed Lecturer to the chair of obstetrics and gynaecology at Liverpool University. Beazley was a member of the North of England Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society.
