John Carte, [1655?]-1689.

John Carte, or Cart, was born either in 1655 or in 1650, near Sheffield. He became a licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians in 1674. Carte was a notable physician in Manchester, he died and was buried in Manchester in 1689.
