MB ChB Manch 1911.
Green was born in Lowton, Newton-le-Willows in 1885, he studied medicine at the University of Manchester and was a medical student at Cheadle Royal Asylum. Green was senior house surgeon at Crescent Road Military Hospital and Crumpsall Hospital Manchester. Green was gazetted in 1916 and served as a captain in the RAMC in Mesopotamia and on the Western Front. He died of influenza at Wimereux on 13 November 1918.
