M.B. Ch.B VUM 1945
Blockley was educated at Manchester, and was a surgical registrar at MRI early in his career. He later worked as orthopaedic surgeon at several hospitals in the Glasgow area. Blockley published a number of papers on osteomyelitis and congenital dislocation of the hip.
