MRCS LRCP 1946.
Fleming received his medical education in Manchester and was house surgeon at MRI and assistant medical officer at Hope Hospital, Salford, before working in general practice in Leigh, Greater Manchester. Fleming was also a Local Treasury Medical Officer.
