Abrahams was a honorary surgeon at Blackley Red Cross Hospital, and appears to have been in practice in Blackley, Manchester. His career also included positions as house surgeon at Royal Infirmary Doncaster and Royal Infirmary Paramaribo, Govt Medical Officer in Dutch Guiana.
