MB ChB Aberdeen 1901.

Geddie, the son of an Accrington Doctor (possibly William Geddie), studied at Owens College Manchester and Aberdeen. After qualifying he held junior ophthalmic appointments at the London Ear and Throat Hospital, Wolverhampton and Midland Counties Eye Infirmary and Preston Royal Infirmary. Geddie then settled in general practice with his brother C.M. Geddie and later became honorary ophthalmic and aural surgeon to the Victoria Hospital Accrington and a number of local charities. Geddie was a member of the North of England Ophthalmic Society.He died on 27 June 1939 aged 59.
