MRCS Eng 1839.
Beattie was an apprentice at MRI from 1833 until 1838 when he qualified. He appears to have been admitted to the Haydock Lodge Asylum some time before 1845, but by 1860 was medical officer for St Clears District, Carmarthen Union.
