Aronovich was born in Romania and was educated at North Manchester High School for Girls and at the University of Manchester. She originally trained asa nurse, but later studied medicine, and was a clinical assistant at MRI before working as a GP in Manchester. Aronovich was a member of the Medical Women's Federation and a Fellow of Manchester Medical Society .
