MRCS LRCP 1931.

Forde trained at Manchester and was house surgeon and house physician at MRI. He was in the Indian Medical Service and served in Mesopotamia before being appointed resident medical officer at Park Hospital, Davyhulme. He worked in general practice in Alsager, Cheshire. His wife, Nancy Narcisse Forde, née Carter, was also a doctor. She qualified MB ChB at Manchester in 1931 and held house positions at St Mary's Hospital Manchester before being appointed junior assistant medical officer at South Yorkshire County Mental Hospital, Wadsley.
