MB ChB Manch 1953.
Bishop was born on 23 November 1921. After qualifying at Manchester, Bishop was appointed orthopaedic house surgeon at MRI before becoming RSO at Ashton General Hospital, Ashton-under-Lyne. He later moved to Canada.
