LSA 1837; FRCS Eng 1859.
Aspland trained at Kings College and Guys Hospital, London. He was justice of the peace for the counties of Chester and Lancaster and for the city of Manchester. Aspland was surgeon at Ashton-under-Lyne Infirmary.
