MRCS LRCP 1888.

Fryer received his medical education at Owens College Manchester and held junior positions at MRI and Manchester Union Infirmary. From 1891 he was assistant medical officer at Monsall Fever Hospital Manchester before being appointed medical officer of health for Urmston, a position he held for thirty one years. Fryer died on 12 January 1930 leaving sums of money to various Manchester Hospitals.
