MB ChB Manch 1927.

During the 1914-18 war, Ashcroft worked as a Red Cross Nurse at the Flixton Hospital and at MRI. After qualifying in 1927, Ashcroft worked at the Greengate Hospital, Hardman Street Hospital and the Delamere Sanatorium. She later became Hon Medical Officer at Greengate Hospital and Open Air School, Salford, a post she held for more than 20 years. Ashcroft was a fellow of Manchester Medical Society . She was married to George Vincent Ashcroft, and died on 7 March 1964.
