This volume is a large anthology of poetry that opens with a kaside by Nesimi. There is a list of poets written in red within gold-ruled squares (ff 1v-4v) which does not entirely correspond with the actual contents of the anthology. All of these had died before the time of compilation. Poems of the following individuals are represented in the anthology:. The anthology is divided roughly into three sections. The first consists of kasideler and tahmisat on the verses of various poets. Often the poem is introduced by a rhyming title. There is a collection of müfredat arranged in sections according to the rhyming letter (ff 211r-239r); a series of poems about Istanbul, the last being a müsemmen of Şugli (ff 267-272r); and later on we find other poems and addresses to the people of Istanbul (ff 324r-426v). This is followed by a break in the manuscript with two blank folios on which poems were written at a later date (ff 327r-329r). At the end of the manuscript are blank folios upon which poems of Sezai, Fehim and others have been copied in a different hand (ff 374r-378v). The text contains a single unvan. On folios 340r-v are chronograms giving the date 1115 AH (1703-04 CE), which would seem to be the approximate date, not only of the compilation of the anthology, but also of its transcription.
