This volume contains a collection of 63 amusing stories by Azmi, who compiled it from other collections (unspecified) at Kedüs (Gediz) near Manisa in 995 AH (1586-87 CE). It was originally called Kitab-i kümek, but the author later changed the title (f 1v). This Azmi, known as el-Kedüsi in Haj. Khal., was the author of a divan. According to Riyazi, his name was Murad and he possessed a timar at Gediz. His death took place in 1016 AH (1607-08 CE). The manuscript is in the hand of the author himself, and thus must have been copied between the original composition of the work (1586 CE) and the death of the author (1608 CE).
