Scope and Content

This volume contains a mesnevi, apparently untitled, on the story of Yusuf (Prophet Joseph). The author gives his name as Ahmedi-yi Amedi (ff 1v, 74r, 74v). This version does not appear to be recorded in any published catalogue. There is noticeable damage on ff 1-30, all of which has been repaired except for a section of f 1r from which most of 2 mısra of text has been lost. This manuscript is undated but was likely copied in the late 18th or early 19th century. The copyist is listed as Kadılarlı Hafız.
